Fees for lawyer service

1. Fees for lawyer service include the amount of remuneration and actual expenses.
   Types of claiming the remuneration are either “work-hour system” or “startup fee/success fee system.”
   
   Work-hour system
   The hourly remuneration of the assigned lawyer multiplied by the number of hours spent for the service shall determine the amount.
   
   Startup fee/Success fee system
   The economic benefits of the case multiplied by the proportion of the fixed rate shall determine the amount.
   For either system, a “month-end closing, next-month-end payment” basis will be employed.
   Actual expenses for such issues as revenue stamps, transportation and communication costs will also be charged.
2. Whichever system to be employed and the actual amount of fees will be determined upon mutual consultation with the client, however we shall refer to the average levels of the industry as our indicators.
   Advance estimates are also available.
   There are discount systems available for our advisers.

Fees for patent attorney services

1. Fees for patent attorney services include the amount of remuneration and actual expenses.
   For the remuneration of patent or trademark application, costs will incur at all three stages of application, intermediate processing and registration.
   
   Actual expenses will also incur for such causes as payments to the patent office and communication costs.
2. In the case of applications to foreign countries, remunerations for the foreign agent and expenses paid to the local patent office would also be added to the above.
   Decisions as to those expenses will be determined upon mutual consultation with the client, however we shall refer to the average levels of the industry as our indicators.
